Volume & Contour Treatments

An excellent treatment to restore volume & create a more youthful, rejuvenated facial appearance.

How does it work?

Volume and Contour Treatments utilise a sugar gel that consists of a substance that mimics what is naturally found under the skin. This treatment strongly binds with water & is used to create volume in the face. As we age, our skin loses elasticity & natural hydration. This, combined with the effects of gravity, can lead to lines, wrinkles & sagging of the skin.

Is the treatment safe?

Side effects are generally rare, mild & short lived. A small number of people may experience prolonged redness & swelling. Side effects are usually minimal & may consist of bruising, swelling, tenderness & redness. Other rare side effects are verbally discussed in the consultation.

How long does it last?

The duration of the effects of this treatment varies from client to client & the area treated. Touch ups are essential in keeping the aesthetic size & shape you desire.

Is the treatment painful?

A local anaesthetic may be used to numb the area. Alternatively, the area can be cooled with ice to minimise discomfort. This reduces the feeling in the area & also helps to reduce bruising. With a caring soft touch, the treatment can be quite comfortable.
